hello.

This is a simple, everyday blog about the things that make me tick. Welcome to my new adventure.

in good company

in good company

Stay tuned for a little series I'm going to call, In Good Company. This is an idea I've wanted to do for quite some time so I'm excited to be sharing this with all of you right here on lemonsforlove.com.

They say you are the company you keep and I feel like this couldn't be more true when it comes to the people I've chosen to surround myself with. People who inspire, challenge, and support me, through life's roller coaster ride full of adventure and unpredictabilities. People who take on the world in their own way. People who (have experienced) and are there for the good, the bad, the very ugly (and wine-induced) moments we all hate to admit we have. You know who you are...

Case in point: my last blog post on the power of vulnerability, where I opened my soul, felt sorry for myself and publicized just how hard this big life move has been for me, resulted in my peeps reaching out, calling me and checking in to see how I was doing. THOSE are the people who make great friends and THEY are the good company I choose to keep.

SO, WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

The series will be a Q&A format, featuring people I think are pretty awesome and doing some spectacular things with their life.  They take on life's challenges, obstacles, surprises and joys, with grace, gusto, determination, confidence and a little bit of swagger. Whether it be their profession, their adventures in parenthood, obsession with travel, the desire for a higher education, or just following their dreams, this is a platform to highlight what I think they do so well (while also admitting to their failures and bumps along the road).

My only wish is that this will inspire you along the way.

As with anything I do, this will most certainly evolve and take on a life of its own, possibly into something much bigger than what I ever anticipated. After all, life is full of risks, surprises and leaps of faith, so lets do this!

Stay tuned...
